Withum is proud to announce that Black CPA Centennial named Aaron Slaughter to the 2021 40 Under 40 Black CPA list.
Withum’s Aaron Slaughter was chosen for his outstanding career path, professional success and dedication to his community. As a Withum team member for over a decade, Aaron rose through the ranks at the Firm, starting as a Staff Auditor.
Now a senior manager, Aaron is responsible for more than his work with his team, participating in Firm Initiatives like Strategic Planning and the Inclusion and Diversity taskforce and the BLAAC Team Member Resource Group.
Aaron is an active mentor in his community. He is a “Big Brother” with Capital Partners for Education in DC and speaks at National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) events. In addition to speaking to students, Aaron serves as on the Board of Trustees for his alma mater, McDaniel College.
Black CPA Centennial’s 40 Under 40 list marks the 100th anniversary of John W. Cromwell Junior becoming the first Black CPA. The list honors young CPAs who follow in John’s footsteps, breaking barriers and striving for success while serving their communities.
Black CPA Centennial will hold a virtual ceremony for the honorees on November 12, 2021.
