I will be presenting an investment program for the general public on Thursday, April 21, 2022, on Zoom and it is free.

A lot has happened since the COVID lockdown in March 2020, when the stock market dropped over 30% in one month only to recover to all-time highs and then undergo sharp ups and downs, and now it has to deal with inflation and a rapidly rising 10-year Treasury interest rate. I will present an up-to-the-minute assessment of how to invest in the stock market, including whether you should invest in the stock market and how much of your funds should be in the stock market. Also to be discussed are investment risks and comparisons with other types of investments, such as bank CDs, long-term bonds, real estate, cryptocurrencies, commodities, private equity and venture capital funds, private businesses and alternative investments. 11 Stock market charts and three do-it-yourself assessment graphs will be discussed. An extensive 80-page handout will be provided to all attendees.

The program continues my Take A Business Break series at the East Brunswick Public Library and is free, but you must register in advance.

For those that do not know me, I am a CPA and emeritus partner with WithumSmith+Brown, an adjunct professor at Baruch College and one of Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People.

I hope to “see you” at this program.
