Coachella

Since 2009, 2,582 low-income Coachella Valley students have been awarded more than $16 million from OneFuture Coachella Valley and its local nonprofit partners.

OneFuture Coachella Valley (OFCV) believes that education lays the foundation for economic development. By empowering their region's youth, each student will grow and contribute to the success of their community, local businesses, and the economy as a whole.

Who They Are

OFCV provides students living in Coachella Valley, CA with meaningful careers in partnership with their colleges and school districts, work experience with their local business partners, and support for their students as they navigate college and become the future.

In 2005, Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP) founded Pathways to Success with the goal to increase education in the community, which would then hopefully drive the economy. 12 years later this program had outgrown CVEP and formed its own nonprofit: OneFuture Coachella Valley, to continue this important work.

Today, they are serving 7,758 students, offering 48 career academies and pathways (as well as 17 other postsecondary programs) to set them up for success. Not only do OFCV scholars have 15% less student loan debt than the average graduate, but OFCV has provided 249 undergraduates with an internship in the healthcare field and there have been 1,291 bachelor’s degrees completed since 2009.

Their Mission & How They Fulfill It...

It all starts with an educated youth. OFCV believes an educated workforce creates jobs that support families who, in turn, support the economy.

This cycle of success is what drives OFCV's mission: To assure all students succeed in college, career, and life - expanding and enhancing the local workforce so that our youth and economy thrive.

Through a variety of programs, OFCV provides financial aid, resources, and support services to help students prepare for college, career, and life.
