Withum is proud to announce that Sareena Sawhney, Principal in the Forensic and Valuation Services group, has been appointed Vice Chair of the Directors & Officers (D&O) and Trustee Errors & Omissions (E&O) Committee for the Professional Liability Defense Federation (PLDF) Organization. At the PLDF, Sareena will assist in serving as an advocate for the committee and help in attracting new members to the committee.
Sareena specializes in complex fraud investigations, forensic accounting, and white-collar defense matters as well as services related to commercial litigation and professional liability matters. In professional liability defense matters she has served as a damage expert or a forensic accounting expert to help defend the insured of allegations of various improprieties.
Her experience includes conducting fraud and white-collar investigations, calculating and rebutting commercial damages, shareholder disputes and bankruptcy fraud analyses for mid-size to Fortune 500 companies. She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and has a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF).
Withum’s Forensic and Valuation Services Team offers litigation consulting services, forensic and fraud services, matrimonial matters, bankruptcy, and business valuation services to corporations and individuals across the nation.
