Withum’s Jessica Hollobaugh Appointed to Serve on the New Jersey Supreme Court District VII Fee Arbitration Committee

Withum is pleased to announce that Jessica Hollobaugh, CPA/ABV, CFE, Partner and Market Leader for Withum’s Forensics, Investigations and White-Collar Criminal Defense Services, has been appointed to serve on the New Jersey Supreme Court District VII Fee Arbitration Committee.

The Supreme Court of New Jersey appointed Jessica to a four-year term on the committee, ending in 2025, and reaffirmed her appointment to the District VII Ethics Committee for a four-year term ending in 2022.

Jessica has over 17 years of diversified public accounting experience which she leverages in providing consulting and expert witness services to attorneys, corporations, and individuals in connection with complex civil and criminal litigation. She has received accolades from both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts recognizing her as a leader in the field of forensic accounting. As the Market Leader of Withum’s Forensics, Investigations and White-Collar Criminal Defense Services, Jessica leads a team that specializes in performing complex forensic, white-collar, and corporate investigations.

On the Fee Arbitration Committee, Jessica will serve as a public member on panels which hear complaints on attorney fees. New Jersey’s fee arbitration committee exists as a lawsuit alternative for clients who are seeking resolution for fee disputes with their attorney. The fee arbitration process is less formal, typically resolved more quickly, and relatively more inexpensive than a traditional court case.

As a member of the Ethics Committee since 2018, Jessica has and will continue to serve as a public member on panels which will hear grievances about violations of the attorney ethics rules. The Ethics Committee acts as the investigative and prosecutorial arm of the Supreme Court of New Jersey in discharging the Court’s constitutional responsibility to supervise and discipline New Jersey attorneys.

Jessica’s keen eye for details and successful career make her a fantastic appointment to these committees. We are proud to support her and her capacity to uphold the highest level of integrity in the profession through these positions.
