Avalara releases tax tool for property managers

Tax automation software company Avalara released a new compliance product developed specifically for property managers.

The solution, called Avalara MyLodgeTax Pro, is aimed at large property managers responsible for between five and 40,000 properties.

Among other features, the product allows users to:

• Register with state and local tax agencies based on the property information inputted;
• Determine lodging tax rates based on the property’s address;
• Prepare, file and pay lodging taxes when due;
• Create reports to support internal or external audit requirements;
• Get support for tax agency correspondence and notifications; and,
• Access ongoing product support from industry experts.
