Withum is proud to share that Jim Bourke and Chris DeMayo were honored by New Jersey Business Magazine as part of their NJ Innovate 100 Celebration.
The inaugural NJ Innovate 100 Celebration spotlights professionals dedicated to the progression of their industries and the overall innovative ecosystem in New Jersey. Innovation+, along with assistance from local business associations, compiled the lists to highlight professionals who value and utilize collaboration, and serve as catalysts for progress.
Jim Bourke, Managing Director of Withum’s Advisory Services practice, and Chris DeMayo, Chief Operating Officer and Practice Leader of Withum’s Technology and Emerging Growth Services, were honored at the event at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center on May 14, 2024. Jim and Chris are essential to Withum’s exceptional innovation, which propels the Firm and the profession forward.
Withum’s Innovates Inside and Out
Withum’s dedication to Innovation started years before innovation was a trending corporate term. In 2020, Chris spearheaded the initiative to centralize the Firm’s innovation strategy by bringing on Withum’s first Chief Innovation Officer, Molly Goins-Cox. Now, a robust group of team members, Withum’s Innovation Team strives to reimage the use of people, processes and technology to help our teams increase value for clients.
Innovation is at the heart of Withum’s operations and touches every aspect of the organization. Most recently, Withum was one of the first firms to work collaboratively with the AICPA on the new Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS), which has taken the accounting profession by storm. DAS, developed by the profession for the profession, is enhancing the efficiency, quality and client-value of financial statement audits through a risk-focused, data-driven approach using Caseware’s OnPoint cloud platform. Jim was instrumental in Withum’s early adoption of DAS and its scaled implementation across the Firm, which includes additional OnPoint products.
