Woodard Appoints Deborah Defer as Director of CAAS Consulting Services

Defer will lead Woodard’s efforts in providing comprehensive assessments, practice strategy/design, and implementation support to top 200 CPA firms in the United States.

Woodard, a provider of consulting services for the accounting profession, has appointed Deborah Defer as the director of client accounting and advisor services (CAAS) consulting. In this role, Defer will lead Woodard’s efforts in providing comprehensive
assessments, practice strategy/design, and implementation support to top 200 CPA firms in the United States.

Defer brings over two decades of invaluable experience in CAAS leadership within enterprise firms, making her the perfect fit to spearhead Woodard’s CAAS consulting services team. She will have a primary focus on standardization, data entry automation, modernization of client interactions, pricing, and expanding advisory services within existing CAAS clients.
