10 Investment Lies and What You Should Really Do

Investment lies are widely prevalent in today’s financial system. I will discuss some of the top 10 lies investors are subjected to and show ways to avoid falling prey to them.

I will cover how rainy day funds are mishandled in asset allocations, how to get stuck trying to beat the stock market, the myth of individualized investment management accounts, the very high hidden risks in fixed-income bond funds, the almost impossible investment account rebalancing, the risks in variable annuities and what annuities are better, why trying to beat the government by taking Social Security early could be a mistake, why the largest organization certifying financial planning professionals sued the U.S. Government to make them cancel a regulation that its members must act in their clients’ best interests and not their own best interests, the risks with gold and bitcoins (although they should not be compared), how banks are deceiving their customers with the CDs they sell them, and more.

I am angry about these and many other situations and I will provide an inside look at how to not get cheated by the people you are paying for their trusted advice and organizations and how many long-standing investment beliefs are bunk.
