Withum Supports University of Central Florida Accounting Scholarship

As a longtime member of the Central Florida business and higher education communities, Withum is honored to be a financial supporter and platinum sponsor of the Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting Academic Excellence Awards Scholarship Program at the University of Central Florida (UCF).

On Friday, February 24th, Russell Goldberg, partner-in-Charge of the Orlando office, awarded $8,500 in scholarships to five students at the UCF Spring Banquet.

We’re always looking for ways to help the next generation discover a passion for the accounting industry. We are glad to continue working with UCF to benefit local scholars who will be the future of our business community. It is my personal honor to award these scholarships to hard-working, deserving students. We encourage the profession as a whole to increase scholarship investments in our future business leaders.

As the program’s largest donor, Withum is no stranger to the UCF community. A longtime corporate partner of the UCF College of Business, in 2019 the Firm established the Withum Learning Lab, a high-tech student collaboration and tutoring space for students in the Dixon School of Accounting. Withum was also honored with a Partnership Award at the UCF College of Business Hall of Fame event in 2020. Withum team members engage with students on multiple recruiting opportunities throughout the year with the mission of spreading the word about the Firm’s unique culture and the industry at large.

Recipients of the scholarships are full-time undergraduate or graduate students with a 3.0 GPA or higher. In total, nearly $100,000 in scholarship funds were awarded to deserving students at the event.
