Cherry Bekaert Adds Chicago-Area CPA Firm PKF Mueller

During its most recent fiscal year, PKF Mueller had revenue of $37.7 million, making it the 127th largest accounting firm in the U.S.

Top 30 accounting firm Cherry Bekaert has acquired PKF Mueller, a full-service CPA firm based in Elgin, IL.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but as part of the transaction, Cherry Bekaert also receives Mueller dotKonnect, a business process outsourcing firm that specializes in finance, accounting, tax and payroll functions.

Founded in 1968, PKF Mueller has three Illinois offices—in Elgin, Chicago, and Orland Park—as well as an office in Sarasota, FL. The firm provides accounting, tax, assurance, and management consulting services to privately held and publicly traded companies, local governments, and not-for-profit organizations within a wide variety of industries. During its most recent fiscal year, PKF Mueller had revenue of $37.7 million, making it the 127th largest accounting firm in the U.S.
