The Insightful Accountant 2024 ProAdvisor Awards process is underway.
This year, Insightful Accountant will recognize more QuickBooks ProAdvisors than ever before. (Murph)
For 2024 we will recognize the Top 100 ProAdvisors from the US (and its territories), 25 Up-n-Coming ProAdvisors, and as many as 50 International ProAdvisors from around the globe.
Insightful Accountant will also recognize the ProAdvisor of the Year, the International ProAdvisor of the Year, the Up-n-coming ProAdvisor of 2024, and various categorical ProAdvisor winners (QuickBooks Online, Appology, Educator, etc. to name just a few).
Qualifications
To be considered for these awards, and go through the awards process all ProAdvisors must meet the minimum qualifications:
- Domestic 'Top 100' Applicants (the United States and its possessions): To be considered for these awards, US ProAdvisors must hold one or more 'current' ProAdvisor (Online or Desktop) certifications issued by Intuit US.
- International participants (countries outside the US and its possessions): Regardless of the country in which they reside, International ProAdvisors must hold Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor status or the equivalent* for their country, a country within their Intuit (AMER, EMEA, APAC (or Global) Region, or have a current ProAdvisor Certification issued from any country where Intuit issues actual QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
- Cross-certified participants (International and Domestic): For 2024, International participants who are currently cross-certified in their country and the US may choose to participate in either the International or Domestic (US) process; however, they will be evaluated only on the criteria for the process in which they choose to participate.
- Client Practice Required: All nominees must actively practice as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor/Professional with one or more actual clients using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop), regardless of the country in which they reside. Individuals providing staff services without actual client interactions in rendering services using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) are not eligible for these awards.
Revised Nomination Process for 2024
We changed our process for 2024 so you don't have to wait to be notified of your nomination or to begin your formal application. Here are the main points of this year's changes detailed in the nomination and application forms.
- When a ProAdvisor is nominated by a fellow ProAdvisor they will immediately be notified of their nomination via email and provided a link to their formal application. (There will be no notification to nominees other than the automated email.)
- When a ProAdvisors begins to nominate themselves they will immediately be redirected to their formal application form. Once you complete page 1 of the form, you can 'come and go' (close & re-open) from the formal application. An email with your unique application URL will be sent to you the first time you close the form.
- The new Formal Application includes automatic determinations of eligibility based on the minimum criteria for domestic and international applicants as set forth above. (The information and documentation you provide self-validates your eligibility to continue the process and disqualification information will flash on screen, also providing you with instructions how to resolve the reason for your disqualification.) Part of this new screening process requires all US candidates must upload their current QuickBooks 'certificate' to be eligible to continue. Applicants are limited to a single application form based on their email and IP address.
Nomination - Application Timelines
Regardless of whether a ProAdvisor is participating in the Domestic (US) or International processes, the following timelines apply.
- Self-Nominations: ProAdvisors may nominate themselves beginning 11/28/2023, and that process will continue through February 20, 2024 (unless otherwise reset by Insightful Accountant). Self-nomination immediately initiates the formal application and eligibility screening process.
- 3rd Party Nominations: Nominations by a fellow ProAdvisor open on 11/28/2023 and will close on
December 31, 2023January 20, 2024 (as reset by Insightful Accountant on 12/14/2023). This is intended to ensure that all 3P-Nom ProAdvisors have plenty of opportunities to complete their formal application. Therefore, Insightful Accountant has set the period for 3P-Noms to close a minimum of 30 days before the formal application deadline. However, ProAdvisors can still nominate themselves and complete an application during this time. - All Formal Applications are due by not later than 23:59:59 Pacific Time on February 20, 2024, unless otherwise published within Insightful Accountant.

Voting and Award Announcements
ProAdvisors meeting the minimum qualifications will be notified no later than February 28, 2024 (unless otherwise reset by Insightful Accountant) regarding the voting phase of the selection process. Voting is tentatively scheduled to end before April 1, 2024.
Publication of the Awards is tentatively scheduled for mid to late April.
