Rightworks Acquires Tech 4 Accountants, Showcases OneSpace

The acquisition adds WISP consulting and supplementary managed security services to Rightworks' offerings.

At the QuickBooks Connect user conference, Rightworks, a cloud service provider for accounting firms and professionals, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Tech 4 Accountants, a security-focused managed service provider for accounting firms and small and medium-sized businesses. The acquisition adds WISP consulting and supplementary managed security services to Rightworks’ offerings.

Rightworks also showcased its OneSpace for QuickBooks Users, which provides leading technology security capabilities, enabling firms and their clients to manage and access their QuickBooks solutions and critical business applications safely and securely.

Tech 4 Accountants was founded in 2014 by Andrew Lassise, and provides WISP templates for accounting firms—fulfilling IRS requirements implemented in 2019 and new FTC requirements implemented in 2023. The company also provides managed security services and remote technical support for its customers.
