MahoneySabol Merges in Giamalis and Company
The top 400 CPA firm combined with fellow Glastonbury, CT, full-service accounting firm Giamalis and Company on Jan. 15.

Top 400 accounting firm MahoneySabol, based in Glastonbury, CT, has combined with fellow Gastonbury accounting firm Giamalis and Company, effective Jan. 15.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. The combined firm will continue to operate as MahoneySabol & Company LLP.
With this merger, MahoneySabol is broadening its client base and added nine experienced professionals from Giamalis to its team. Founded in 1990, MahoneySabol’s 60-plus accounting professionals and administrative support staff serve clients throughout the region.

Giamalis and Company is a full-service accounting firm that offers a wide range of tax services, as well as strategic planning, representation services, and year-round consultation, training, and assistance, to clients that include corporations, business partnerships, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, individuals, and trusts and estates.
Clients of both firms can expect a seamless transition as MahoneySabol works to integrate the operations, ensuring continuity of service. The combined resources and expertise will enable MahoneySabol to continue to offer clients a broad range of services, including tax planning, audit and assurance, business advisory, and more.
