Marcum Merges in Federman, Lally & Remis in Connecticut

The deal bolsters Marcum's team in New England's automotive and food and beverage sectors, adding five partners and 12 associates.

Top 15 accounting firm Marcum merged with Farmington, CT-based Federman, Lally & Remis, effective Jan. 1.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. The merger strengthens Marcum’s team in New England’s automotive and food and beverage sectors, adding five partners and 12 associates. FLR also brings a wealth of experience to Marcum’s tax and assurance divisions.

Founded in 1991, FLR is a comprehensive tax and accounting firm that provides services to a diverse array of industries, including automotive, real estate, food and beverage, retail, manufacturing, and nonprofit.

With this merger, FLR clients will receive enhanced assurance, tax, and advisory services, as well as a comprehensive suite of specialized business and financial solutions, such as R&D tax credits, international tax, transaction advisory, and cyber and information security services, among others.
