Withum is proud to share that team members have graduated from the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Leadership Academy for the past two consecutive years.
2024 FICPA Graduates
Ivan Calata, CPA and Sameer Uddin, CPA graduated from the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Leadership Academy in 2024.
Ivan is a Tax Manager on the Financial Services Team, and Sameer is an Audit Senior working on both the Construction and Hospitality Services Teams. Both participants are members of Withum’s Orlando office.
We’ve seen how the FICPA Leadership Academy helps emerging professionals grow. I’m glad that Ivan and Sameer also had this opportunity because they both have great leadership potential.

Ivan, Sameer, and the other students of the academy’s third annual class graduated from the program at the institute’s CPA Day at the Capitol event on January 17 in Tallahassee. Day at the Capitol is an annual event where members have the opportunity to network with local lawmakers and represent the future of the accounting profession.
2023 FICPA Graduates
Torrey Hill, CPA and Ryan Kelly, CPA were selected to participate in the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Leadership Academy for 2023.
Torrey is a Tax Manager who specializes in construction accounting. Ryan, a Senior Accountant, has experience with servicing the professional services industry and employee benefit plan clients. Both participants are members of Withum’s Orlando office.
Our leadership team is passionate about fostering the next generation of CPAs and instilling virtues and practices for their long-term success. We’re looking forward to seeing what Torrey and Ryan do next and are sure they will continue to succeed and grow as professionals.

Participants attended sessions in Tallahassee and Orlando before graduation on January 25 at FICPA’s Hike the Hill event, where participants networked with local lawmakers and represented the future of the CPA profession.

The FICPA Leadership Academy is a selective program for CPAs aged 35 and under looking to grow as leaders. For the third consecutive year, the FICPA has partnered with the Succession Institute to develop the Leadership Academy’s curriculum, which challenges participants to evolve, create a roadmap for change and expand their skills.
