Mauldin & Jenkins merges in CFO Navigator

Mauldin & Jenkins, a Top 100 Firm based in Atlanta, has added CFO Navigator, a firm that offers financial guidance to businesses and nonprofit organizations in the Atlanta area, expanding M&J's client accounting and advisory services practice.

As part of the deal, CFO Navigator founder Robert Stephens will join M&J to lead the service in the firm's CAAS practice, along with one additional staff member. M&J currently has 77 partners and 463 additional staff, including its central office, IT, administrative HR, and marketing professionals. 

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. M&J's annual revenue is $110 million. M&J ranked No. 73 on Accounting Today's 2023 list of the Top 100 Firms and No. 7 on the Regional Leaders list for the Top Firms in the Southeast.

In 2021, M&J expanded in Alabama by adding CDPA PC, a firm with offices in Athens, Florence and Huntsville, effective July 1. In 2020, M&J expanded to Sarasota, Florida, by acquiring Plush Smith. It acquired another firm in Florida, Jon Campbell & Associates, in 2019.
