These charts continue an annual tradition I use to assist clients with their financial planning. The charts show the 10-year annual and cumulative percentage gains or losses of the major stock market indexes, interest rates, currencies, and gold.
The charts include the dividends paid, the price-to-earnings ratios, and the index’s earnings and dividend payout percentages. Some of the amounts or calculations have been rounded to facilitate review. These charts are provided for illustrative and educational purposes. No recommendations are made or should be inferred from the information presented. Also, note that past results are no indicator of future performance.
My next two blogs will have additional charts. These three blogs with 16 charts will be followed by a blog where I discuss the results. These charts will then be placed in an updated stock market booklet I will make available at a Zoom presentation for the East Brunswick Public Library later in January. Details to register will be included in a future blog when it becomes available. I will also make the booklet available to readers of my blogs.
