The Board of Trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation, Norwalk, announced it is seeking nominations for new members to join the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council for an initial one-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2023.

Robert Coles was appointed the first chief culture and transformation officer at RSM, Chicago. ​​Coles, a business leader and psychologist with four decades of experience and an academic background in organizational leadership and cross-cultural workforce development, will report to RSM International's chief executive officer, Jean Stephens, and lead on a number of transformation initiatives.

Terry Grant was elected the next president and CEO of KatzAbosch, effective July 2022. Grant was director and group leader of the government contracting practice group and succeeds Mark Cissell, who will continue as chairman at the firm. 

MINNESOTA

Jen Leary, CEO at CliftonLarsonAllen, Minneapolis, was named Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Leader of the Year by NABA, which recognizes stellar achievers who have gone beyond the call of duty to reach distinct success in their careers and within NABA, the profession or their community. The award was presented to Leary at the NABA Recharge convention held in Hollywood, Florida, June 21-24. In other firm news, CLA was named to the 2022 list of The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms by Construction Executive magazine.

The Marcum Foundation raised $600,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at its Hope in the Hamptons gala on July 30. 

Berdon, New York, partnered with Project Destined, providing advisory services to support its mission to provide training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship and real estate to students from underserved communities.

Grassi, New York, was named to the 2022 list of The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms by Construction Executive magazine.
