Canopy to Host Summit for Accounting Professionals on Nov. 9. 2023

The free, virtual event will dive into the latest CPA technology with an engaging panel and review Canopy’s product roadmap and offers 2 CPE credits for attendees.

Davis Bell, CEO of Canopy – Davis will explore how business owners are often faced with the need to choose between failure and success. In his remarks, Davis Bell will use business examples showing how choices aren’t always as easy as they appear and how making the “hard” choice early, is often the key to future success.
Shane Westra , CPO – Canopy’s roadmap for the future is bright. Shane Westra will share some of the accomplishments of the past year as well as the planned innovations and products Canopy will be releasing in 2024.
Insights from Thriving Businesses Panel – Moderator Heather Hurst, Canopy Vice President of Marketing, will lead a discussion about building a thriving business with three experts from outside of the accounting industry. Joining her will be: Crystalee Beck, founder and president of Comma Copywriters; Nicole McMillan, Canopy SVP of People; and Jami Nelson, a certified life coach. The four will discuss building business, transitioning from an owner/manager to an owner/leader, hiring and onboarding, and other issues facing businesses today.
