FAF Redesigns FASB Website

Revamped websites for the Financial Accounting Foundation and the GASB will also be going live in the coming weeks.

Have you been over to the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s (FASB) website lately? If not, it has a new look.

The revamped FASB website—launched by the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF), the body that oversees the FASB and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB)—features streamlined navigation, a simpler menu structure, more attractive and intuitive design, a stronger search algorithm, and more prominent placement of the most important information stakeholders are looking to find.

The websites for the GASB and the FAF will also have a new similar look in the coming weeks. A cross-organizational team worked throughout most of 2023 to create the new sites, according to the FAF. The group included representatives from the FASB, GASB, and the FAF’s publishing, IT, legal, administration, and communications teams.

“We are pleased to provide to FASB stakeholders the first of our three new websites,” FAF Executive Director John Auchincloss said in a written statement. “We are confident that they will appreciate the many improvements we made and how much easier it is to access important information.”
