Report Claims Giuliani Owes Nearly $550,000 in Back Taxes to IRS

According to a report, former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani owes $549,435.26 in unpaid taxes and, as a result, the agency has placed a tax lien on a condo he owns in south Florida.

According to reports in The New York Times and the Daily Mail, former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani owes $549,435.26 in unpaid taxes and, as a result, the agency has placed a tax lien on a condo he owns in south Florida.

Giuliani, a former U.S. Attorney, legal advisor and counsel to former President Donald J. Trump, is also involved in separate lawsuits he has filed against President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, as well as defamation lawsuits filed against him in Georgia, and criminal cases in federal and Georgia courts relating to the January 6, 2021 election and efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

The property reportedly placed under lien is described as a penthouse valued at $4.5 million in Palm Beach County, Florida, located approximately three miles from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Giuliani also owns property in New York City, which has been put up for sale.
