The Scaling New Heights conference, put on each year by Woodard Events, has expanded its offerings to become the largest accounting technology showcase in the country. The June 19-22 conference in Orlando will feature eight major accounting platforms and a total of 114 accounting technology solutions and service providers. The theme of this year’s conference is “Thrive.”

Dean Dorton launches lease accounting practice

Kentucky firm Dean Dorton will now provide lease accounting managed services. The new service will provide on-demand reporting for lease portfolios, including calculation and disclosure support, ongoing portfolio maintenance, and updates for contract amendments and/or modifications, as well as expert analysis from Dean Dorton’s advisors. The focus of the new service line will be helping clients comply with the new mandatory lease accounting standards: ASC 842, GASB 87 and IFRS 16.

Infrrd launches invoice feature

Document processing software firm Infrrd has introduced Infrrd for Invoice. Features include a template-free framework, out-of-the-box invoice and accounts payable document models, access to the Infrrd Fields Library, machine learning capabilities to drive extraction accuracy, and automated purchase order matching.

Fintech firm Airwallex has a new bank feed integration, developed in partnership with Onlineone, a NetSuite solution partner. Airwallex’s customers will now be able to automatically synchronize transactions in their NetSuite accounts for the latest view of their financial position in a single platform. … Accounting integration company Amaka has bought billing software company InView to become a centralized SMB platform. … Data analytics platform Insight Out is partnering with Sage to integrate with its Sage Intacct Marketplace. … SAP SE is deepening its partnership with IBM to help the computer company migrate to the SAP S/4HANA ERP system. This will ultimately move more than 375 terabytes of data. … AvidXchange announced that a full application programming interface integration is now available for property management companies, which offers accounting code matching, supplier sync and invoice batching within the integrated platform, as well the option to execute more secure payments via the AvidPay Network.
