Everlance Links Mileage, Expense Tracking App Into Xero

Everlance has announced that it reached the 500,000 user milestone, and its customers can now easily sync their mileage and expense management to their Xero or FreshBooks accounts.

As the highest-rated mileage and expense tracking app in the Apple App Store, Everlance’s subscribers have grown over 10x in the last two years, with the company continuing to improve its level of automation and personalization. Its product uses GPS to learn Favorite Locations to classify commutes, as well as processes credit card data to learn Favorite Merchants to create rules for business expenses. In addition, it allows users to bring their Everlance data into their accounting system and vice versa.

“We launched Everlance in 2015 to replace the two most common ‘technologies’ used for documenting business expenses and mileage — the shoebox of receipts and the paper mileage log,” Alex Marlantes, CEO of Everlance, said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to be working with FreshBooks and Xero. In addition to being fantastic products and common requests from users, we all share a common vision of using automation to make the frustrating parts of being an independent worker completely disappear.”

The partnerships with Xero and FreshBooks represent Everlance’s first direct integrations with cloud accounting platforms.

“Xero’s open platform allows us to seamlessly integrate with hundreds of third-party apps to automate the flow of data so that our customers can spend less time on administrative tasks and more time building their business. We are excited to welcome Everlance and their customers to our ecosystem,” said Aaron Bloom, senior product manager of the Americas at Xero.

“The FreshBooks belief is that billing and accounting can and should be painless. This new integration between Everlance and FreshBooks enables self-employed professionals to automatically track business mileage and expenses to maximize deductions at tax time. As more and more people strike out to work for themselves, seamless experiences that save them time and money will make all the difference in their success,” Mark Girvan, chief commercial officer at FreshBooks, added.
