Target, Levi’s Expand Partnership With Exclusive Home Collection

Target will be working with Levi Strauss on a new limited edition collection, featuring new home and lifestyle items, according to a press release.

Levi’s for Target, as the program is called, will expand on the two companies’ long partnerships and “features thoughtfully-designed, durable pieces meant to inspire a more sustainable home and life,” the release says.

The release says the two companies have worked together on a new collection of “durably made items” which will be tailored for everyone in “the entire family” including pets, with apparel and accessories available. They’ll include quilts, pillows, tableware and other things, “allowing guests to feel comfortable during a time when they are spending more time at home than ever before.”

In addition, the collection will come with the Levi’s trucker jacket and sleepwear, the release says.

“We immediately connected on our mutual passion for purposeful and timeless design, with sustainability and quality, at the core of everything we do,” said Karyn Hillman, Levi’s chief product officer. “We dialed up the best elements of our two iconic brands and discovered fresh new ways to create truly unique products to be enjoyed for years to come.”

Levi’s and Target first began working together a decade ago with the DENIZEN denim brand. From there, they also worked on the 2019 introduction of the Levi’s Red Tab brand at Target, the release notes.

With the Red Tab expansion, Target is also rolling out curated in-store displays that will be able to be seen in 500 stores by the fall of this year.

Target recently did well on holiday sales, which comprised both good eCommerce numbers as well as in-store sales.

PYMNTS reported this in contrast with other formerly-strong retailers like Nordstrom or Urban Outfitters, which ended up with inefficient in-store traffic that even a strong volume of digital sales could not sufficiently buoy.
