The law is retroactive to years beginning on or after January 1, 2021 and continues for years ending before January 1, 2026. The tax for years beginning on or after January 1, 2021, is due on or before the due date of the PTE’s tax return without regard to extensions. For most PTEs this will be March 15, 2022.
