Top 70 accounting firm Clark Schaefer Hackett & Co. is set to acquire fellow Cincinnati CPA firm Rolfes & Swisher in a deal that will become effective on July 1. Founded in 1938, Clark Schaefer Hackett has 600 employees across 10 offices, which are located in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and one in Mumbai.

I had the opportunity to visit Claiborne Farm i n Bourbon County, Kentucky not far from Lexington, KY. Since the Kentucky Derby was still fresh in my mind, I was pleased that two very dear friends arranged the visit. Claiborne Farm is a thoroughbred horse breeding operation near Paris, Kentucky.
